The project’s brief was to create visual impact evidence photomontages to support the VCAT hearing for a medium-density townhouse development in an inner Eastern suburb of Melbourne.
Being prepared to be flexible is very important when it comes to visual impact evidence work – and in this case, it was immediately apparent. When montaged into streetscape photography, the project was barely visible in the initial four camera points.
However, when the planning lawyer requested two more camera points – we needed to organise photography and a 3D point survey to happen almost instantaneously.
We do our best to complete 3D visual works in a rush, so it was incredibly gratifying when the project received a successful permit outcome shortly after the completion of the hearing.
