VISUAL IMPACT EVIDENCE FOR PROPOSED COMMERCIAL OFFICES

VISUAL IMPACT 3D PHOTOMONTAGES, 3D POINT CLOUD SURVEY & STATEMENT OF METHODOLOGY

Contemporary Expression of Heritage Aesthetics

The newly approved office building on Mair St combines a minimalist aesthetic with clean lines and simple shapes, enhanced by brick cladding in a few colours that match the surrounding colour scheme.

We created detailed visual impact evidence photomontages to illustrate the building’s accurate integration with its surroundings for the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT). This evidence was essential in demonstrating how the building’s understated design and coloured brickwork would enhance the streetscape without overpowering it. By accurately showing the structure’s form and façade within its broader context, the project team provided VCAT with clear visual evidence highlighting the project’s thoughtful alignment with the local environment.

We put a lot of thought into planning, photography, detailed 3D point cloud surveys, and ultimately crafted the 3D photomontages. This approach helped our clients secure a successful VCAT approval, showing how well-designed buildings can truly enhance and fit into neighbourhoods.
