Architectural Redesign and Adaptation

Our brief was to re-produce a set of visual impact photomontages as evidence for a second appeal for this medium-density development in Glyndon Rd, Camberwell.

As the locale was quite sensitive to its neighbourhood context, the second application addressed these concerns by reducing heights, adjusting the density and improving adjoining interfaces between existing dwellings and the proposed.

The key objective of the VCAT renders was to clearly identify the differences between the original proposal and the subsequent one and assist the planning team in obtaining the permit. We were thrilled to hear that the hearing was successful and that our clients received the permit to proceed to construction.

Play the animation below to see the variations between the images submitted to VCAT.
