Welcome to July and a new financial year FY23.
It feels like a bit of a new start – the interest rates are on the rise, property seems to have slowed down its massive upswing – things are starting to return to normal – and as the Cruel Sea sang – “The honeymoon is over, baby – it’ll never be the same again!”.
The period of low interest rates was never meant to be a permanent thing, it’s just that people are quick to get used to a certain way of being – and at the rate, we are being brought back to “normal” levels, it’s clear that the “honeymoon” is over. On the other hand, it’s also a reminder – that economy has taken in the stimulus and is working and needs to be weaned off the “cheap money” in order to progress.
So let’s hope that in the next couple of months after the shock of returning back to long-term averages in the rates, the property market will stabilise and present a more sustainable long-term path rather than being open to higher volatility and risk of collapse or as some commentators like to call the “bubble burst”.
In our news, Yuliya has been interviewed on ABC News Breakfast and shared her story of leaving Ukraine – I felt quite emotional as it drew so many parallels to our own escape from the wild wild west of what was about to become in Georgia in 1991 when we migrated to Australia. Here is the video recording below if you’d like to check it out and learn more about her story:
We are also excited to be continuing the modular wiring conversations with the guys from MyModular and in the next episode, Chris Bellamy talks about temporary lighting on construction sites. Check out the video here.
The feature project this month is Lysterfield Village in Orange, NSW. This 300-plus lot estate is about to enter the marketing phase and the clients had this to say about working with us:
“My experience working with Stan at Eagle Vision has been exceptional. From initial contact, all the way through to the completion of work the level of professionalism, communication, and care has been refreshing. My feedback was always taken on board and we never felt like a nuisance when requesting changes. The final product was outstanding, we’ll be using Eagle Vision again.”
It was great to hear such kind words and we look forward to supporting their projects in the future. Click here to check out more of the images for the project.
All the best for the month ahead and reach out with any questions about 3D visualisation,
