Welcome to our first update for 2022 and Happy New Year across the board, including the auspicious Chinese New Year of the Water Tiger!
Many say that the year of the Water Tiger represents strength in the arts, technology and design sector, which means these areas will be thriving. And these are exactly the areas that we operate in – so hopefully, it’ll be a pretty exciting year ahead. If you’re curious about how the Water Tiger affects your future this year – here is a fun article from the UK about it – Chinese New Year: What the Year of the Tiger means for you – full list of signs revealed
Judging by how few of our clients took time off over the summer break (travel is not for the faint-hearted at the moment), which I kind of expected – so it was all full steam ahead on our side – we completed about 5 projects over the last couple of months including a luxurious riverfront triple-storey townhouse development, multi-storey office building about to be circulated for an upcoming VCAT hearing and our third interactive master plan project for a 500 lot estate in NSW, which is about to be launched and we’ll feature it in the next edition of the updates. So it’s been a pretty busy couple of months.
And January which typically is a bit of a quieter month in terms of new projects – has kicked off with a huge bang – we landed 7 new projects and more in-store still – as well as what we are working on in a super exciting partnership with an automotive and equestrian designer which is taking us to a whole new level of custom 3D visualisation. We’ll be sure to feature those projects as they come online!
I’m also really excited to bring you our next series of video interviews this year – the first one is all about acoustic design from the creators of one of the world’s ultimate sound systems Kyron Audio. The first interview talks all about the “why” of designing for sound – check it out here: Designing for Sound Part 1: Introduction
The feature project this month is the Richmond St Hackney development – click here to have a look at some of the images and the flythrough and if you want to learn more about it – get in touch with the agents through here.
All the best for the month ahead and may the year of the Tiger bring us good fortune in 2022!
