It’s been a very active month in June, quite unlike last year – but very reminiscent of 2016. Back in 2016 – we had a huge month in June that set us up for the whole year ahead – but one thing that I’ve learnt is that at the moment history is not repeating itself as we all deal with the virus occupying the globe.
With all the global and local events going on, the construction industry is proving quite resilient and the announcement of a range of grants and subsidies are going a long way to exciting first home buyers and homeowners looking to renovate – so we’re hoping that it will be the one to lead us out of the recession and the gloomy mood that has set in.
In one of the most exciting news for us, we’ve started on an interactive masterplan project which will be built completely in a gaming engine called Unreal. This app will have a range of features to take advantage of the capabilities of a gaming engine and will be placed in a display suite on a TV-sized touchscreen for prospective buyers to “touch and feel” the estate. This I feel is a much more effective way of utilising that kind of technology as it allows an immersive experience without disconnecting the buyers from their immediate surroundings.
As always I look forward to your thoughts and questions and all the best for the month ahead,
To your development success,
